REMISOL Advance* v1.10 software helps to ensure continuous operations and efficient delivery of critical results by giving mid- to high-volume laboratories real-time, actionable analytics at-a-glance
“By providing a snapshot display of important analytics in a single location, we are enabling technologists to identify and prioritize critical activities moment by moment,” said Erik Johnson, vice president and general manager of workflow and informatics, Beckman Coulter. “This helps to improve the speed and quality of their workflows and, effectively, allows them to keep their fingers on the pulse of laboratory operations at all times.”
The REMISOL Advance middleware solution supports operations for mid- to high-volume laboratories by helping them ensure consistency through network standardization, create efficiencies with autoverification rules, improve workflow through consolidated sample management and integrate quality-control management to improve reliability. The system’s version 1.10 software strengthens these capabilities through enhanced rules writing and dynamic turnaround time monitoring. Enhanced rules-writing functionality helps laboratories control operations with ease and consistency, giving them the ability to copy rules to multiple tests simultaneously and evaluate rule performance under simulated conditions. Dynamic turnaround-time monitoring alerts users to samples at risk of delay, while also displaying a custom list of delayed samples for fast identification of potential issues.
“We made the software changes to REMISOL Advance in direct response to the voices of our customers,” said Johnson. “With our customer-centric focus, we have the ability to respond rapidly to the evolving needs of today’s diagnostic professionals, providing them with solutions to ensure they deliver important laboratory results to physicians and patients in a productive and efficient manner.”
