Automating Genetic Diagnostic Services in the English National Health Service

The presentation will give an overview on the challenges facing genetics diagnostics in the NHS, with a specific study of implementation of Biomek® NX platforms within the Manchester laboratory. It will give a summary of process and chemistry changes and overall results of the implementation we have undertaken in Manchester. The talk will also look at the future requirements of genetic diagnostic services.
