Beckman Coulter Closes Acquisition of Olympus' Lab-Based Diagnostics Business

We are pleased to share the news that today we completed our acquisition of Olympus' lab-based diagnostics business.

When we announced our intention to acquire Olympus' outstanding products, we were convinced that this combination of businesses will create a world leading company in clinical diagnostics with special strength in chemistry and automated laboratory systems.

Undoubtedly, the combination of the Olympus' products with Beckman Coulter's chemistry and automation portfolio puts Beckman Coulter in a leadership position in the chemistry and automation market segment, worldwide.
